Solution Architecture

PeaceEdge is built on a robust, secure architecture that meets Bangladesh Bank's ICT Security Guidelines and Agent Banking technical requirements.

Real-Time CBS Integration

Direct real-time online connection to the principal bank's Core Banking System for instant account verification, balance checks, GL posting, and transaction processing — as mandated by BRPD 14/2017.

End-to-End Encryption

All data in transit encrypted using TLS 1.2 or above with AES-256 encryption at rest. PIN encryption managed via Hardware Security Module (HSM) for tamper-proof key management per BB ICT Security Guidelines.

Biometric Authentication

Customer identity verified via fingerprint biometric linked to NIDRA for every transaction. STQC/BIS certified devices with FAR < 0.001% and FRR < 1% ensuring reliable, secure authentication.

Multi-Channel Support

POS/Handheld terminals (PCI-DSS certified), mobile agent apps (Android 8.0+/iOS 13+), device binding, remote wipe capability, and GPRS/3G/4G connectivity with SMS fallback for critical transactions.

High Availability

Minimum 99.5% system uptime during business hours (8 AM – 10 PM). Mandatory Disaster Recovery site with Recovery Time Objective (RTO) of 4 hours. Data center located in Bangladesh per BB data localization policy.

Network Security

Firewall, IDS/IPS, and SIEM for comprehensive network security. Annual VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing) mandatory. Transaction signing at device level with non-repudiation through digital audit trails.

Politically Exposed Person identification with enhanced due diligence. Automated customer risk scoring (Low/Medium/High) based on transaction behavior, occupation, and geographic location.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Biometric fingerprint verification for customer transactions. Agent login requires username/password plus OTP. PIN encrypted end-to-end using AES-256. Auto session timeout after 3 minutes of inactivity.

Device Binding & Signing

Agent devices must be registered and bound to specific outlets — unauthorized device access is blocked. Each transaction digitally signed at device level ensuring non-repudiation through digital audit trails.

Transaction Limits

Bangladesh Bank-prescribed transaction limits per BRPD Circular No. 14/2017, configurable by the principal bank based on internal risk appetite.

Individual (Low Risk)

Daily credit BDT 200,000 / Daily debit BDT 100,000. Monthly credit BDT 500,000 / Monthly debit BDT 300,000. Per cash deposit BDT 50,000 / Per cash withdrawal BDT 25,000.

Individual (High Risk / PEP)

Daily credit BDT 100,000 / Daily debit BDT 50,000. Monthly credit BDT 200,000 / Monthly debit BDT 100,000. Enhanced due diligence and monitoring applied automatically.

Small Business

Daily credit BDT 500,000 / Daily debit BDT 500,000. Monthly credit BDT 2,000,000 / Monthly debit BDT 2,000,000. Restricted to sole proprietors and SMEs at agent outlets.

Government SSN Beneficiary

Credit as per programme allocation / Daily debit BDT 100,000. Monthly debit BDT 300,000. Remittance disbursement up to BDT 200,000 per transaction per FE Circular 14/2012.

Reporting, Audit & Grievance

Comprehensive regulatory reporting, immutable audit trails, and structured customer grievance mechanisms as mandated by Bangladesh Bank.

Agent Banking Activity Report (ABAR)

Monthly submission (by 7th of following month) to Bangladesh Bank OSRMS/Reporting Portal. Includes transaction volumes, customer counts, agent performance, and financial inclusion metrics.

Regulatory Reports

Quarterly Financial Inclusion Data to BB Statistics Dept. New agent appointment report (within 7 days). Agent termination report (within 3 days). Annual Agent Banking Summary within 60 days of year-end.

Immutable Audit Trail
